Secure It Self Storage is a family owned and operated business in the Spokane area. We seek ambitious, career-oriented professionals to market and operate a self-storage facility in Spokane, WA. The Assistant Manager needs to be self-starter and ambitious, with a willingness and capacity to serve the public. TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS POSITION, WE ARE LOOKING FOR APPLICANTS THAT MEET THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA:
- Available for a full time schedule (5 days a week). All positions require weekend work.
- Able to work independently & with minimal supervision
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Customer Service This position requires superior customer service and sales skills from both Managers. Being comfortable interacting with the public is mandatory as are highly proficient telephone skills
- Marketing to local businesses and apartment managers
- Must be comfortable with paperwork, telephone, computers (Word / Excel)
- Accurately manage cash and balance receipts, pursue collections, posting payments and process daily bank deposits accurately and timely.
- Clean and Maintain Facility. Minor maintenance such as sweeping hallways, units, grounds, cleaning floors, changing lights, painting, pulling weeds etc.
- Monitors the physical condition of the property and reports any maintenance issues
- Must be willing and able to perform routine janitorial duties
- Sit, Stand & Walk regularly throughout the work day.
- Ensure that store achieves its targeted revenue projections.
- Maintaining merchandise for customer purchase
- Must be detail oriented, have great organizational & multi-tasking skills
- Preparing auction units according to procedure and lien laws as needed.
- Taking home emergency lines after hours (in case of emergencies).
Qualifications
- 3 years of customer service experience (i.e. retail sales, restaurant, sales associate, front desk, site management, and/or other customer-centered sales roles)
- 3 years Management Experience (Self-Storage, Property Management or Retail a plus)
- Strong work ethic and self-starter with the ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Clean driving record, valid driver’s license and your own vehicle (due to marketing and banking responsibilities)
- Willingness to float between properties as needed, to support multiple locations within a district
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent, a college education is a plus

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
