What are the responsibilities and job description for the Client Services Account Manager position at Secure Money Advisors?
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Account Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for managing and overseeing client accounts, ensuring the timely and accurate processing of new business, transfers, and service requests. The Account Manager will work closely with clients, vendors, and internal teams to provide seamless account management and ensure client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
New Business Management:
- Monitor the status of pending accounts to ensure timely and accurate funding.
- Track new client and existing client opportunities and ensure proper documentation and processes are followed.
- Participate in daily team scrums with advisors to ensure alignment and progress on client accounts.
Client Service & Communication:
- Maintain consistent and positive communication with clients, responding promptly to calls, emails, and messages.
- Complete client servicing paperwork and ensure all client information is organized and accurately documented.
- Refer any complaints or complex issues to the appropriate department (Director of Client Services or President) for resolution.
Vendor & Partner Management:
- Communicate closely with external vendors, including the Relationship Manager at FIA, and follow up on applications, transfers, and other requests.
- Coordinate with delivering and receiving companies to track the status of client transfers, rollovers, and other client requests.
- Ensure client contact information is updated with all relevant vendors.
Annuity & Account Servicing:
- Follow up with delivering firms to confirm receipt of funds, and monitor when funds are posted to new or existing accounts.
- Track and follow up on the status of annuity policies and ensure they are issued as needed.
- Notify clients and internal teams when all accounts have been funded and/or policies have been issued.
Documentation & File Management:
- Maintain client files, ensuring they are organized, accurate, and updated regularly.
- File documents on the server and ensure all paperwork is submitted and filed in the correct folders.
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation for all transfers, applications, and other client-related requests.
Additional Responsibilities As Needed:
- Provide cross-functional support to other department members as needed.
- Assist with client onboarding, including account applications, paperwork signing, and document organization.
- Maintain and update client files, asset summaries, and Riskalyze reports, ensuring accurate records for meetings and reviews.
- Support advisors by scheduling follow-ups, submitting applications and rollover requests, and tracking their progress.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Director of Client Services.
- Assist the President with special projects.

- Proven ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Skilled in prioritizing tasks and adjusting workload as business needs evolve.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally.
- Proficiency in standard office software, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies, software, and systems.
Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of related experience preferred.
- Secondary education and a degree in a relevant field preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.

Pay: $47,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
