PURPOSE
Secure Shredding and Recycling (SSR) is committed to protecting its clients’ confidential information by providing NAID-certified services such as shredding, record destruction, and e-waste recycling. Due to the growing demand for our services, we are looking to grow our team by adding a Sales Representative in the e-waste recycling division.
The Sales Representative in the e-waste recycling division is a new position within the company. He/she will be responsible for exhibiting the highest level of customer service to prospective and current customers. The Sales Representative for the E-Recycling Division will play a critical role in driving business growth by fielding inbound leads, identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities, and cross-marketing our e-recycling services to our existing paper shredding customer base.
The ideal candidate will enjoy interacting with people, exhibit exceptional communication skills, especially over the phone, and possess a keen attention to detail.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Field and respond promptly to inbound e-recycling leads, in a professional, timely, and customer-service-oriented manner providing detailed information and converting inquiries into sales.
- Maintain accurate records of lead interactions in the CRM system.
- Interact with prospective customers (on the phone or via email) in a manner that provides them with all the information they need and encourages them to become a customer.
- Contribute toward building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing customers to ensure satisfaction and loyalty through regular follow-ups
- Interact with current customers (on the phone or via email) in a manner that conveys professionalism and empathy and resolves their issues.
- Educate current customers about the benefits of our e-recycling services and offer tailored solutions to meet their needs.
- Provide ongoing account management, including follow-ups and upselling opportunities.
- Proactively identify and target prospective customers through research, networking, and outreach.
- Conduct outside sales efforts, including face-to-face meetings, presentations, and attendance at industry events.
- Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot and resolve customer issues.
- Collaborate with the paper shredding sales team to identify cross-selling opportunities among existing customers.
- Accurately capture all necessary customer intake information.
- Perform regular audits of customer information and update information as necessary to ensure the customer database is as accurate as possible.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market demands, and competitor activities.
- Provide feedback to the management team to refine service offerings and sales strategies.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Ability to work independently, follow instructions, ask questions if necessary, and complete tasks on time with minimal supervision

- Adherence to strict confidentiality guidelines.
- Knowledge of data security, IT equipment, or related technologies.
- Demonstrate consistent success in meeting or exceeding sales targets, preferably in technology or B2B service industries
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Some customer service experience preferred.
- Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written).

- Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
