CMS Surveillance Team Lead
We are currently hiring immediately for a full-time Central Monitoring Station Surveillance Team Lead for night shift.
Schedule is flexible but set and can also include: 5 8-hour shifts or 4 10-hour shifts

As a Surveillance Team Lead, you will work with various types of communication and electronic data processing programs and oversee a team of Surveillance Technicians to ensure that company procedures, policies, and expectations are upheld. You will call for emergency/police dispatch to our client’s properties to ensure the protection of their assets and property, as well as track departmental data and prepare/maintain respective reports as necessary.
Responsibilities include:
- Identifying suspicious activity from live video streams or electronic messages from fixed surveillance units across the country and dispatch police as necessary
- Monitor and lead Surveillance Technicians
- Organize daily employee activities
- Communicate and support field activities with onsite Security Guards, Field Technicians, and other company employees.
- Initiate incident investigation and work closely with law enforcement to prosecute criminal activity
- Train and coach new Surveillance Technicians and employees
- Create shift schedule to include: work station assignments, employee breaks, back-up for absent employees and shift changes
- Communicate with other Shift Leads and on-site Managers.
- Ensure a clean and safe work area
- Complete shift paperwork
- Any additional responsibilities as directed by the Central Monitoring Station Management.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be able to sit for 8 or more hours at a time
- Must be able to pass a drug test
- Must have reliable transportation to commute to Layton office
- Must have no criminal history
- Must have high school diploma or equivalent
Previous leadership experience is a plus, but we’re willing to train the right candidate!
