Summary Description Drivers should be courteous and friendly and be able to deliver excellent customer service. Driver must assist clients getting in and out of vehicle and assisting clients with a "through the door" service Applicants must have a flexible work schedule, to accommodate the business need. Driver Trainers need to be able to train, mentor, and monitor new driver's in all of Secure Transportation's policies and procedures. |
Key Tasks and Responsibilities Drivers are responsible for pre-inspection check on all vehicles driving; making sure all items or any other devices are stored away properly; drive clients to and from destinations in a safe manner; must be able to communicate with new hire trainees to ensure they understand all of the policies and procedures of Secure Transportation. |
Education & Training High school graduate or GED equivalent is preferred but not required. Valid driver's license, Class C or commercial driver's license Class A or B with passenger endorsement. Valid CPR/First Aid card is preferred but not required. |
Knowledge and Experience Experienced driving corporate clients and paratransit vehicles are a plus. Must have experience training and/or supervising employees. Must have a driver's license for at least five (5) years. No more than one (1) moving violation or one (1) at fault accident in the last three (3) years. Applicants must be familiar with using cellular phones and navigating around areas using a GPS. |

Working Conditions Drivers must be able to work in a fast pace environment. Drivers must provide a current driving record printout when applying (Valid 30 days from date of application), must pass a pre-employment drug screen test, pass Data check, and EPS check. |
Physical Requirements Driver must be able to pass the physical test. Lift up to 50 LBS, push and pull up to 150 LBS, bend from the waist, pivot from waist, be able to move from a standing position to kneeling position back to standing. |
