Job Summary
We are seeking a PHP Developer with at least 2 years of experience to join our on-site team in St. Louis, Missouri. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications using PHP, adhering to tasks and directions from the IT Project Manager. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of PHP, MySQL, MVC frameworks, RESTful APIs, and front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Preferred qualifications include experience with cloud platforms, UX/UI design, React JS/React Native, and mobile app and development experience as a plus. Remote or hybrid work is not available.
Key Requirements:
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications using PHP.
- Develop and utilize RESTful APIs to connect applications with various services.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance and security.
- Implement features and enhancements based on project requirements defined by the IT Manager.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve development practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in developing and utilizing RESTful APIs.
- Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
As a Plus:
- Experience with React JS and React Native.
- Mobile app development experience.
- UI/UX development experience.
