What are the responsibilities and job description for the Repair Technician-Tier 2 position at Secured Tech?
The Repair Tech Tier 2 is an in-office position responsible for handling all assigned electronic device repairs with excellent attention to detail while ensuring quality. The individual in this position will be familiar with electronic device repair, have a general understanding of computer hardware, outstanding customer service, experience with typing, and the ability to work with small parts. The Repair Tech Tier 2 will report directly to the Services Manager and work closely with other technicians to ensure that repairs are completed in a timely manner.

Position: Device Repair Technician
Fundamental Goals and Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair devices promptly upon receipt
- Ensure all repairs are completed in a timely manner
- Provide exceptional communication and customer service
- Maintain a clean workspace and ensure accuracy in repairs and related communications
- Work towards promotion to Tier 3 by developing necessary skills
- Support Operations as needed, including Processing, Fulfillment, and Inventory tasks
Objectives for the First 90 Days:
- Learn efficient and high-quality repair techniques for iPads, Chromebooks, and MacBooks
- Produce clear and detailed diagnostic reports for all assigned devices
- Collaborate with fellow technicians to improve repair methods
Objectives for the First 6 Months:
- Build on skills and achievements from the first 90 days
- Meet and exceed repair goals consistently
- Begin training in soldering techniques
- Contribute innovative ideas to enhance the repair process
Experience: At least 1 year of experience in repairing Chromebooks and Apple products.
Salary
$17 - $19 per hour
