Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and result-oriented Functional Solutions Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of business processes and technical solutions, helping our clients and internal teams transform business requirements into effective, scalable, contemporary solutions. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders across functional and technical teams to define solutions and ensure that they are designed, integrated and implemented in a manner that that meet clients’ strategic goals and are compliant with current cybersecurity standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Solution Design and Architecture: Lead the design and development of functional solutions that align with business objectives, ensuring they are both effective and scalable.
• Business Process Analysis: Collaborate with product owners and business stakeholders to understand their requirements, processes, and objectives, translating these into functional specifications.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (product management, IT, business analysts, and development teams) to ensure alignment between business needs and technical solutions.
• Requirements Gathering: Lead workshops and interviews to collect functional and non-functional requirements from business users and document them clearly.
• Functional Specifications: Develop detailed functional specifications and business process models to guide development teams in the execution of projects.
• Solution Implementation: Ensure that the proposed solutions are effectively implemented within the organization's existing systems, working closely with development and implementation teams.
• Integration and Customization: Guide the integration of third-party applications and platforms with internal systems to meet business needs.
• Technology Assessment: Stay up to date with the latest technological trends, recommending and implementing best practices for system design, architecture, and software tools.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and propose innovative solutions that increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve the user experience.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Experience:
• Overall experience 10 yrs
• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Solutions Architect.
• Proven track record for successful implementation of enterprise applications as a Solutions Architect
• Proven experience in business analysis, solution design, and system integration.
• Strong understanding of business process modeling, ERP, CRM, or other enterprise applications.
• Technical Skills:
• Familiarity with cloud computing, APIs, micro services and web services.
• Experience with functional requirements gathering tools, modeling, and documentation (e.g., BPMN).
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).
• Soft Skills:
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Problem-solving mindset with a focus on business outcomes.
• Ability to present complex solutions clearly and concisely to executive-level stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Oracle or equivalent RDBMS is a strong plus.
• Certifications in relevant fields (e.g., TOGAF, ITIL) are a bonus.
• Experience with data architecture and governance is an advantage.
• Familiarity with agile and DevOps methodologies.
