Affinity Solutions has aggressive growth and margin expansion goals. This position plays a key role in both these goals, leading the Affinity Solutions Client Underwriting team in providing financial quotes for all lines of business within Affinity.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate risk and financial returns to ensure underwriting decisions align with Affinity's risk tolerance and ROE/margin targets while growing the business. Assess financial condition of clients, distributors, and reinsurers.
- Accountable for overall CFEM (profitability measure) targets. Identify trends and recommend case management actions.
- Ensure quotes and financial arrangements comply with legal and regulatory standards while balancing sales and earnings targets.
- Complete quotes and financial proposals in accordance with pricing/underwriting guidelines and service standards.
- Lead regular performance reviews and feedback, fostering a collaborative work environment and professional development opportunities for the team.
- Oversee non-reinsurance contingent compensation calculations and accruals.
- Prepare timely financial reporting to state insurance departments for our insurance lines of business.
- Participate in quarterly business reviews with clients and distributors.
