What are the responsibilities and job description for the Investment Portfolio Analyst position at Securian Financial Group?
Securian Financial Group is seeking a highly motivated Investment Portfolio Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our structured assets group, you will be responsible for analyzing and evaluating investment opportunities in the structured assets market.
You will oversee primary and secondary structured asset markets, including timely new issue recommendations with both structural and underlying asset analysis. You will also present secondary ideas based on relative value and be responsible for trading approved trade ideas.
The Investment Portfolio Analyst will also be responsible for ongoing surveillance of current holdings with the goal of right sizing risk to align with current fundamental viewpoints. They will also update investment sector thesis with positioning on a regular basis and conduct internal rating assessments.
