Sr. Sales Consultant

Job Summary

This Senior Sales Consultant - Institutional Retirement role focuses on selling fixed group annuity contracts to employers, providing longevity solutions and capital preservation investment options for defined contribution plans.

Responsibilities:

• Develop effective sales strategies to promote and sell fixed group annuity contracts.
• Identify and target potential clients through marketing, networking, and referrals.
• Build relationships with recordkeeping firms, RIA aggregator firms, and large corporations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver services.
• Presentation and close of sales deals.
• Stay updated on industry trends and competitive landscape.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities.
• Achieve and exceed sales targets.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in insurance sales.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong understanding of defined contribution plans and longevity solutions.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to build client & intermediary relationships.
• Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft products.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance.
• Valid Life Insurance Producer License or ability to become licensed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business or finance.
• Experience in the retirement solutions industry.
