Job Summary
Securiport LLC is a US company based in Reston, VA, that specializes in the design and implementation of full solutions for border security. This includes passenger biometric recognition, immigration processing, advanced threat detection and screening, and intelligent information reporting and management systems based on advanced technological solutions. Securiport provides a complete immigration processing solution and analytics to maintain border security. Services include technical analysis, design, implementation, and maintenance of Securiport’s software solutions, training, and technical support to the field operations.
The Technical Recruiter will report to the Executive Director of HR and plays a key role in building a high-performing workforce by identifying and securing top-tier technical talent. This position is vital to the growth and success of the organization, ensuring that mission-critical roles in software engineering, cybersecurity, and IT infrastructure are filled with skilled professionals. The Technical Recruiter partners closely with hiring managers and HR leadership to develop recruitment strategies that align with company goals and workforce planning needs. They will also assist in administrative roles, as needed.
Essential Functions
• Develop and execute full-cycle recruiting strategies for technical positions across the organization
• Source, screen, and evaluate candidates through various channels including the company’s HRIS system, job boards, networking events, social media, and employee referrals
• Manage applicant tracking system and maintain accurate candidate record
• Manage vacancy requisitions
• Coordinate and conduct initial interviews to assess qualifications and cultural fit
• Partner with hiring managers to understand job requirements and provide guidance on market conditions and best practices
• Assign and record technical assessments to all applicable candidates.
• Schedule interviews between candidates and managers.
• Prepare job offers in collaboration with HR and department leaders
• Prepare outcome reports for each vacancy
• Assist with onboarding efforts.
• Perform other duties Human Resources duties, as assigned
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
• Knowledge of full-cycle recruiting and sourcing techniques for technical roll
• Understanding of software development roles, other technical roles and IT terminology
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• PowerPoint presentation skills
• Ability to manage multiple requisitions in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment CRM tools
Required Education, Certifications/ Licenses, Related Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required
• Three to five years’ experience in technical recruiting or talent acquisition required
• In lieu of degree, a total number of seven years’ experience in related field will meet the education and related experience requirements listed above
• Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or similar certification desired
Physical Job Requirements
• This position requires the ability to remain in a stationary position (standing and/or seated) more than half the time
• The person in this position may need to move about the corporate office(s) less than half the time
• This position requires the ability to spend all of the time viewing computer monitors
Travel Requirements
• This position requires overnight domestic travel less than 25% of the time
• Anticipated travel will be by car and/or air
