Director of Digital Security

In support of this corporate strategy the Securitas has defined an IT security strategy with four key objectives: (1) to be cyber resilient; (2) to provide information security assurance to customers and partners; (3) ensure security in engineering and operations of its products and solutions; and (4) enable Securitas to process data in a secure and compliant manner across the group.

Role, Objectives, Scope & Reporting lines

The Director of Digital Security will contextualize these strategic objectives for Securitas Technology in consultation with his or her stakeholders, particularly where it involves the Product Development efforts across our businesses. He or she will oversee the Digital Security aspects of Securitas Technology Product Development Teams throughout the product life cycles. This role involves ensuring that security is integrated into the product design, development, deployment and support processes, thereby safeguarding the products and our client data against potential vulnerabilities and threats. He or she will define specific objectives, targets and means for the Product Development teams to ensure compliance with hardware and software development best practices and for assuring digital security in customer facing technology offerings. Where necessary he or she will further elaborate and implement Digital Security governance in the division ensuring that the strategic objectives are pursued in an optimal manner. Together, these objectives, targets, means and governance will constitute the Securitas Technology Digital Security Program, an integral part of and fully consistent with Securitas AB global digital security program.

The Director of Digital Security will work closely with the Cluster Security Officers (CSO) within Securitas Technology and will steer and support them to define their local Digital Security program contributions, ensuring this is anchored with their local country and business unit leadership. He or she will also guide the effort to deliver digital security support to sales, legal, projects and sourcing activities across Securitas Technology.

The Direct Digital Security reports directly to the Securitas Technology Global CIO and will work closely with Securitas Group and other Division Digital Security leaders to influence future programs and standards for Digital Security across the Group.

Required skills & experience

• Bachelor’s degree in a Computer Science or related engineering field;
• At least 5 years of experience in an IT Cyber Security and/or Digital Security role;

• Certifications as Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA);
• Expertise in secure software development practices;
• Strong project management and leadership skills;
• Knowledge of threat modeling and Risk management;
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams;
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, for stakeholder engagement;

• Strong analytical ability to triage information and to break down complex problems and to bring structure where none exists prior;
• Ability to forge meaningful relations and exert influence outside hierarchical lines and across all skills levels in the organization; bridge builder;
• Solution oriented mindset with respect for policy boundaries;
• Strong leadership profile: ability to clearly articulate common objectives with empathy around which the stakeholders are rallied, even in adversity.
