What are the responsibilities and job description for the Service Technician I position at Securitas Electronic Security Inc.?
STC offers a full portfolio of video, access, intrusion, fire and integrated systems and services. STC is seeking technically minded individuals possessing experience with low voltage electronics specializing in electronic security solutions. Our teams are responsible for providing service on STC products at customer sites. The position provides customer contact for all post-installation problems on security systems and equipment, as well as, special project work, when needed.
Here are the minimum qualifications you will need
- High school diploma or GED
- Active LEA license OR currently pursuing your LEA license.
- 2 years’ experience installing and/or servicing intrusion, fire alarm, access control, and CCTV security systems with a basic understanding of electronics, wiring, local and national codes
- Valid state driver’s license without restrictions.
It would be awesome if you had these qualifications, but they aren’t required:
- Vocational/technical degree in electrical, security, or computer systems
- Bosch, DMP, Edwards/EST, Honeywell, Radionics, Simplex and/or GE/Mirtone system, Genetec and Software House (C-Cure) knowledge
