Securitas Security Services is now hiring for an Overnight Shift Supervisor to lead a 3rd shift Security Team at our client site in Stratham, NH.

• Primary Location: Stratham, NH
• Rate: $21.50 - 23.00/hour
• Schedule: Friday - Tuesday; 2300-0700*
• *must have some flexibility
  
  

The right candidate will be highly professional, organized, able to lead of team of Security Officers. Prior security experience is a plus, but not required.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership and Supervision:

• Supervise and lead a team of security officers during the overnight shift, ensuring they are properly trained and follow security protocols.
• Conduct regular check-ins with officers to assess their performance and provide guidance as needed.
• Oversee the delegation of security patrols and monitor the progress to ensure complete coverage of the premises.
  
  

Monitoring And Reporting

• Monitor security systems (CCTV, alarms, access control systems) to detect any suspicious activity or security breaches.
• Respond to and assess emergency situations, including incidents of theft, vandalism, or workplace disturbances, and take appropriate action.
• Generate and review daily security reports, incident logs, and shift summaries; escalate any significant issues to upper management.
  
  

Incident Response

• Lead emergency responses, including fire, medical, or security incidents, and coordinate with local authorities (police, fire department, etc.) as needed.
• Provide detailed incident reports and ensure proper documentation of all security-related events.
  
  

Training And Compliance

• Ensure all security staff on shift are familiar with and comply with safety protocols, policies, and legal regulations.
• Train new and existing security staff on emergency procedures, reporting protocols, and effective use of security equipment.
  
  

Security Inspections

• Conduct routine inspections of the property to ensure that all areas are secure, including gates, doors, windows, and high-risk zones.
• Perform access control, ensuring that only authorized personnel enter restricted areas.
  
  

Qualifications

Skills:

• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage a team and make decisions under pressure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly document incidents and reports.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in emergency situations.
• Proficient in the use of security equipment, surveillance tools, and incident reporting software.
  
  

Physical Requirements

• Ability to remain on feet for long periods, walk and patrol the premises as necessary.
  
  

Minimum Hiring Standards

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a reliable means of communication (i.e., pager or phone).
• Must have a reliable means of transportation (public or private).
• Must have the legal right to work in the United States.
• Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English.
• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
