Director of Compensation and Workforce Planning
Position Overview: We are seeking a strategic and analytical Director of Compensation and Workforce Planning for North America to lead our compensation strategy and workforce planning initiatives. This role will be responsible for designing and implementing competitive compensation structures, ensuring compliance with local regulations, analyzing workforce trends, forecasting future talent needs, and developing strategies to ensure that our organization has the right people in the right roles at the right time. In addition, the candidate will oversee the Mobility and relocation for employees relocating to/from/within North America. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in compensation management, advanced analytical skills and a deep understanding of the North American market.
Key Responsibilities:
· Compensation Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive compensation strategy aligned with the company’s goals and industry benchmarks. Ensure competitive pay structures across all levels.
· Market Analysis: Conduct regular market surveys and analyses to keep abreast of trends in compensation and benefits, ensuring our offerings remain competitive and equitable. Utilize analytics to measure the effectiveness of compensation programs and identify areas for improvement.
· Mobility Programs: Oversee the mobility programs for North America division, ensuring smooth transitions for employees relocating to/from/within North America. Manage policies related to expatriate assignments and relocation services.
· Compliance: Ensure all compensation practices comply with relevant laws and regulations, and implement best practices in compensation governance and reporting.
· Collaboration: Partner with HR, Finance, and business leaders to align compensation strategies with organizational objectives. Provide guidance on salary negotiations and compensation-related issues.
· Workforce Analysis: Conduct comprehensive analyses of current workforce demographics, skills, and capabilities to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement.
· Strategic Planning: Develop and implement workforce planning strategies that align with the organization's goals and objectives, including collaborating with talent acquisition, performance development and business leaders.
· Change Management: Lead change management initiatives related to compensation and workforce planning, ensuring effective communication and stakeholder engagement throughout the process.
· Team Leadership: Assess and develop the team needs fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
· 10 years of experience in compensation, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
· Strong knowledge of compensation practices, trends, and regulations in North America.
· Excellent analytical skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
· Proficient in compensation management software and HRIS systems.
Salary : $124,000 - $168,000
