What are the responsibilities and job description for the Area Badging Access System Manager position at Securitas Security Services?
Essential Functions:
1. Represent core values of integrity, vigilance, and helpfulness.
2. Directly support the client on day-to-day approval of access requests across multiple sites and executes against individual needs and verified persons lists.
3. Manage multiple area access management security workflows crucial to operational success.
4. Provide subject matter expertise to key stakeholders regarding recommendations for access controls and future improvements regarding threat/risk mitigation within a critical and highly secured space environment.
5. Proactively audit system connections between device and access permission to identify potential misconfigurations that could unintentionally allow unwanted access to restricted spaces and remediate findings.
6. Drive the execution of action items related to correcting misconfigurations or removing individual permissions to closure.
7. Cultivate intimate understanding of space functions, owners, and occupying organizations that allow the applicant to apply the principle of least privilege (PoLP) to individual permissions.
8. Serve as the primary stakeholder regarding security design and facilities implementation.
9. Analyze datasets and space layouts and leverage software systems to accomplish key tasks and provide actionable insights.
10. All other duties, as assigned.
Education, Experience, and Certifications:
Degree preferred with at least five years of access control and/or physical security experience including knowledge of Lenel OnGuard.
Competencies:
Lenel access level design and management skills, preferred.
Data entry or coding skills, preferred.
Understanding of Python, SQL, and Splunk Search Processing language.
Able to effectively troubleshoot within ambiguous environments.
