Customer Service Security Specialist - Now Hiring!
Location: Downtown Des Moines, Iowa
Rate: $18.00/hour
Position Information:
- Full-time & Part-time
- 2nd & 3rd Shift Available
- Customer Service Security Specialist in a Corporate Setting
- $1,000 BONUS! $500 after 6 months & $500 after 1 year **This bonus is only available for this location. Will be discussed further during hiring process**
- On-site Wellness Center Access
Requirements:
- Must have a professional demeanor
- Must have strong customer service skills
- Must be able to solve practical problems and interpret instructions
- Must be able to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English
- Must be able to walk 5-7 miles per 8-hour shift
- Must be able to pass a company and State background check and drug screen
- Prior Customer Service experience is required
- Prior Security experience is preferred, but not required
Responsibilities:
- Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel
- Controls access to client site or facility through the admittance process
- Patrols assigned site on foot or in vehicle; checks for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances and exits, mechanical problems, and unauthorized persons
- Prepares logs and reports as required Ability to maintain professional composure when dealing with unusual circumstances
- Ability to adapt to changes in the external environment and organization
