Securitas Security Services is seeking a highly motivated and dependable Flex Security Officer to join our security team at a client site in Andover, MA. This position offers flexibility in work hours while providing dedicated security coverage at a single site. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to adapt quickly to various security tasks and responsibilities.
- Primary Location: Andover, MA
- Pay Rate: $25.00/hour
- Schedule: Must have availability to work all shifts, schedule will vary.
- Site Security: Provide consistent security coverage at the client site, ensuring the safety and security of personnel, property, and assets.
- Patrols: Conduct regular patrols of the premises, both inside and outside, to monitor for suspicious activities, security breaches, or safety hazards.
- Access Control: Manage access points, including checking identification, issuing visitor badges, and ensuring only authorized individuals enter the premises.
- Incident Response: Respond promptly to emergencies or security incidents, including reporting accidents, suspicious activities, or security violations in a clear and timely manner.
- Surveillance: Monitor security systems, including CCTV cameras, alarms, and other equipment, ensuring proper functionality and addressing any technical issues as needed.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all security-related incidents, patrol activities, and inspections, submitting daily reports to the site supervisor or management team.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the client, management, and other security personnel to ensure smooth operations and a high standard of safety.
- Customer Service: Provide a professional and approachable presence to employees, visitors, and contractors, ensuring they feel safe and informed.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to stand, walk, and patrol the site for extended periods.
- Strong Communication Skills: Must be able to communicate effectively with employees, visitors, and law enforcement when necessary.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, depending on client needs.
- Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with basic security equipment and surveillance systems is a plus.
