Position Requirements:
- 21 years of age or older
- High School Diploma or GED Required
- Standard computer / technology skills needed
- Must be able to provide exceptional customer service to our clients and their guests
- Must be responsible, accountable, objective, and have a strong work ethic
- Must have a strong grasp of appropriate and professional verbal / written communication
- Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills a plus
- Customer service background preferred
- Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner
- Must be comfortable with report writing
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must be able to work any time of day
- Must be comfortable performing multiple styles of security including but not limited to foot and vehicle patrol, CCTV monitoring, incident response, and standing posts
- Must be comfortable working with the general public which includes the homeless and transients
- Must be able to complete extensive hands on training, conduct safety rides on authorized vehicles or an assigned location, and report any disruptive behavior on the system or property to local law enforcement - will be working closely with local law enforcement and could be expected to provide video reviews for a variety of cases
- Must be comfortable answering panic station calls
- Must be comfortable providing first aid if necessary
- Must be familiar and comfortable de-escalating situations
- 2 years or more of security experience required
All candidates must be able to pass a drug test and background check
