Schedule: The schedule for this position will change week to week.
Pay: $17.00 /hour
Securitas plays an essential role for our clients and in society. The Multi-Site Security Officer will be monitoring and patrolling different client sites on a variety of schedules. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Strong and reliable performance will earn the Officer consideration for assignment to supervisory or other leadership posts. Ideally, Officers will develop career paths to further grow within the Company.
Multi-Site Officers are expected to work at least once every thirty days to maintain their Multi-Site Officer position. If you are looking for flexibility with your schedule and are willing to be flexible with the needs of Securitas, this is the position for you.
Typical Multi Site Security Officer Activities:
- Patrol assigned sites: Regularly patrol the interior and exterior of buildings to monitor for suspicious activity, unauthorized persons, or potential safety hazards.
- Access Control: Ensure authorized access to facilities by screening visitors, verifying credentials, and using security systems such as ID checks and access cards.
- Monitoring Systems: Operate and monitor security systems such as CCTV cameras, alarms, and other surveillance devices.
- Incident Response: Respond to emergencies, including alarms, fire drills, and security breaches, and take appropriate actions such as notifying authorities or evacuating the premises.
- Report Writing: Document and report incidents, accidents, or any unusual activities during patrols, and maintain accurate logs of security activities.
- Customer Service: Assist employees, visitors, and clients in a professional and courteous manner, answering inquiries and providing directions when necessary.
- Emergency Procedures: Assist in executing emergency procedures, including evacuations or coordinating with emergency response teams.
- Compliance: Enforce company policies, local laws, and regulations related to safety, security, and access control.
- Flexibility: Adapt to varying schedules, including weekends, nights, and holidays, and work at different locations based on company needs.
Position Requirements:
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- 18 years of age or older
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Standard computer/technology skills needed
- High level customer service skills needed
- Must have a valid Drivers License
- Must be able to travel to all locations with reliable transportation
