Remote (US-based) 

 

Summary 

The Operations Program Manager (OPM) works closely with the Physical Security Operations Management group to implement global programs and projects. They are responsible for driving client initiatives that support and enable the global datacenter physical security operations. This role requires an individual with extensive experience in delivering enterprise-level end-to-end projects, leading client initiatives, and possessing go-to-market experience. A successful candidate is experienced in enterprise program management office functions, has demonstrated the ability to implement large scale initiatives, and the ability to manage a competing portfolio of projects. The ideal candidate will be proficient in collecting business requirements, understanding project scope, prioritizing tasks, and demonstrate excellent communication skills. 

Essential Functions 

Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex programs and projects across global teams. 

Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and risk management, in service to the client, operations leadership, and Securitas leadership teams.  

Monitor program progress and performance, identifying and addressing potential issues and dependencies. 

Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among global project teams, stakeholders, and executive leadership. 

Provide regular status updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders. 

Develop and execute go-to-market strategies in collaboration with cross-functional teams Implement and promote best practices in project management. 

Collaborate with internal teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. 

Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders, providing clear and timely updates. 

Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the project teams. 

Lead and manage client initiatives, building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders. 

Prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects, ensuring resources are allocated effectively. 

Present to large groups of stakeholders across the globe using cultural appropriateness and geographic inclusive timing.  

At the direction of the Global Manager – Program Management, performs other duties as assigned to ensure the overall success of the Datacenter Physical Security program.

Minimum QUALIFICATIONS AT ENTRY 

Additional qualifications may be specified and receive preference, depending upon the nature of the position. 

Minimum Hiring Standards 

Must be at least 18 years of age. 

Must have a reliable means of communication and internet connectivity including a cell phone and home wi-fi. 

Must have a reliable means of transportation (public or private). 

Must have the legal right to work in the United States. 

Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English. 

Must have a high school diploma, secondary education equivalent, or GED. 

Must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation. 

Education/Experience 

5 years of Project management experience preferably in a global technology company. 

Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of operations related experience required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company. 

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders. 

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification highly preferred. 

Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering large-scale, complex projects. 

Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices 

Proficiency using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, Teams, OneNote, Project, Visio, and SharePoint. 

Knowledge of risk management, datacenter experience or compliance standards is a plus. 

Special Requirements 

Have a current passport or be able to obtain one.  

Able to travel (international or domestic, as required) approximately 10% of the time or more, occasionally with limited notice. 

Able to work evening or weekend hours when required, such as during an emergency or high-priority event.

Strong leadership skills include influencing, negotiating, and delegating abilities. 

Ability to adapt to new and changing environments. 

Maintaining composure in dealing with authorities, executives, clients, staff and the public, occasionally under conditions of urgency and in high-pressure situations. 

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS:

Required ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently. 

Computer usage, which may include prolonged periods of data analysis. 

Handling and being exposed to sensitive and confidential information.

Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds, and occasionally up to 25 pounds. 

Close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus.  

May be required to use vehicle in the performance of duties.
