Looking for a unique and active security role? We’re hiring responsible and observant individuals to join our team as Security Officers at a busy car auction facility in Newburgh, NY. Whether you’re looking for weekend shifts or a steady four-day schedule, we have flexible options available!
Position Details:
Schedule Options (choose one):
Option 1: Thursday – Sunday: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
Option 2: Saturday & Sunday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay: $17.50 per hour
Location: Newburgh, NY
Post Type: Outdoor/lot patrol – vehicle inventory, gate monitoring, and site patrols
⚠️ No prior security experience required. Training is provided!
What You’ll Do:
Monitor access points and control entry to the auction lot
Patrol vehicle lots and perimeter areas to deter theft or damage
Document and report suspicious activity, incidents, and vehicle status
Assist with inventory checks and ensure auction vehicles are secure
Maintain clear communication with auction staff and security team
Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years old
Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
Must be professional, dependable, and punctual
Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
Must have reliable transportation to commute to Newburgh, NY
Ability to walk or stand for extended periods during your shift
