Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and documentation of Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plans for our global healthcare operations.
- Collaborate with international teams (specifically in Israel) and business leaders to map out critical processes and recovery requirements.
- Contribute to the design of our future state BCDR strategy, considering global implications and best practices.
- Potentially assist in testing and validating BCDR plans and procedures.
- Intrusion Detection System (IDS) Development: Depending on the intern's skills, they may contribute to the development and implementation of an intrusion detection system to analyze network traffic for potential cyber threats.
- Penetration Testing and Vulnerability Scanning: Collaborate with the Global Product Security Team (GPST) to conduct penetration testing and vulnerability scans on our AWS and Azure cloud environments.
- Assist in the analysis of security vulnerabilities and the development of remediation strategies.
- Audit and organize shared drives at multiple global locations, along with cloud storage backups
- Review and update asset management documentation
- Assist with patching and updating systems & software (under supervision)
- Create/update "how-to" guides and FAQs for new and existing employees
- Create simple dashboards in PowerBI
- Document Network diagrams and internal systems with Microsoft Visio
- Work closely with the IT team on various projects and tasks as needed.
- Contribute to the documentation of IT processes and procedures.
- Participate in team meetings and provide updates on project progress.
- Demonstrate a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving.
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Strong interest in Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, and Cybersecurity principles.
- Familiarity with networking concepts and security fundamentals is a plus.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS and/or Azure) is beneficial but not required.
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities is desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with global teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
