This position will give you the opportunity to gain knowledge in the various security solutions we provide to our clients, while learning multiple vacates of the business. In this role you will provide operational support to our cliental. Flex Officers will gain a broad, specialized knowledge of various high-profile posts & will be evaluated for leadership & further growth potential.

Securitas plays an essential role for our clients and in society. The Armed Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently our Armed Security Officers will provide customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers and serve as a physical deterrent.

Armed Flex Security Officer Objectives

• Provide security for short-term special security assignments.
• Support staffing requirements at accounts during shortages due to vacations, call-offs, no shows, holidays, etc.
• Assist in start-ups at new accounts which includes working the site & training newly assigned permanent Security Officers.
• Weekend and holiday availability needed.
• Provide high level customer service to our clients & their guests.

Armed Flex Security Officer Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma OR GED.
• Standard computer / technology skills needed.
• Previous Military & / OR Law Enforcement experience a plus!!
• Must be reliable, accountable, punctual, & have a strong work ethic.
• Conflict resolution & de-escalation skills preferred.
• Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner.
• Must be able to conduct foot & / OR mobile patrols throughout shift – during various weather conditions.
• Must be able to stay alert & have great attention to detail.
• Must be comfortable conducting access control duties.
• Must have reliable means of communication.
• 1 year of security experience.
• Armed experience preferred.
• Nevada guard card required.
• Nevada driver license required.
• Open availability greatly desired - will need to be available to work day, swing, & grave shifts.
• Must have own vehicle - officer will be traveling all around the Las Vegas area to different sites to cover different shits.
• Must be a team player.
