Job Requirements :
Former law enforcement or military experience required.College degree in Criminal Justice or a related field of study preferred.Five (5) years of security supervisor experience required.Job Summary :
The position functions as aSupervisor overseeing Security Officers, Lead Officers, and other company personnel assigned to one or more posts at client site(s). The Supervisor ensures :
All post orders are followed.Established rounds are completed.Required reports are filed accurately and promptly.Proper authorities and clients are notified in emergency situations.Key Responsibilities :
Coaching & Discipline : Coaches and disciplines personnel appropriately. Seeks guidance from company management or designated representatives as needed. Personally meets with employees to document coaching and disciplinary actions.Training & Oversight : Trains Security Officers and other company personnel. Reviews post orders and assignment details with subordinates.Payroll & Scheduling : Assists in payroll submission and personnel information. Ensures adequate coverage for all posts and positions in coordination with management.Client Interaction : Meets with client representatives as scheduled or as needed to ensure all security requirements are met and quality customer service is provided.Reporting : Prepares, files, and submits various reports as required.Post Inspections : Inspects posts and meets with subordinates to outline tasks and responsibilities.Supervisory Duties :
In accordance with applicable company policies, procedures, and compliance with state and federal laws, supervisory duties include :
Interviewing, orienting, and training employees.Planning, assigning, and directing work.Coaching and appraising employee performance.Rewarding and disciplining employees.Addressing complaints and resolving problems.Making hiring and termination recommendations.Other Duties :
May perform the duties of a Security Officer in accordance with post orders and company policies.
