Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Head of Business Development to lead our sales initiatives across all service lines, including record storage, shredding, scanning, e-recycling, and data storage. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving new sales, account management, cross-selling services, meeting monthly sales goals, overseeing operational execution, and working closely with the warehouse and operations teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to drive new business across all service offerings.
- Identify and pursue new client opportunities while maintaining a strong pipeline.
- Present and sell services to final decision-makers, tailoring solutions to meet client needs.
- Drive cross-selling opportunities by educating clients on the full range of Security Archives’ services.
Account Management & Client Relations:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and long-term retention.
- Conduct regular client reviews to assess needs and identify areas for additional services.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, handling inquiries, service adjustments, and contract renewals.
Operational Oversight:
- Ensure seamless execution of services by collaborating closely with the warehouse and operations teams.
- Oversee service delivery to ensure high customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Records Management Software & Reporting:
- Learn and effectively utilize our records management software system to track sales, service delivery, and client data.
- Provide sales forecasts and reports to senior management, tracking key performance indicators.
Performance Management:
- Meet and exceed monthly sales goals, with performance metrics reviewed regularly.
- Develop and maintain a sales dashboard to monitor pipeline progress and revenue growth.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably within records management or data storage industries.
- Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Experience with cross-selling and upselling strategies.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in using records management software systems is a plus.
Compensation:
The compensation package for this position is structured as follows:
- 50% Base Salary
- 25% Semi-Annual Bonus (based on sales performance)
- 25% Monthly Commissions (based on new business and account growth)
This structure is designed to reward high performance and revenue growth.
