Lead Product Manager - Financial Data Products & Planning

Security Benefit is searching for an experienced Lead Product Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate may work remotely but will be required to travel to our home office in Topeka, Kansas or our New York office periodically. Security Benefit is looking for an experienced Lead Product Manager to lead a team of Product Managers and to partner with Financial Data Products & Planning Product Managers. The role will be responsible for driving the strategy for the value stream, including working with the data stakeholders to ensure the enterprise data is accurate, accessible, and leveraged effectively to support business decisions and digital experiences. The role's expectation is to be both a thought leader and team leader of other Product Managers.     As a Lead Product Manager, you’ll be responsible for:  Leading a Product Vertical or Multiple Value Streams Developing a bold vision that drives both customer and business outcomes broken into iterative deliverables and measures of success Champions the use of customer research, data, and anecdotes to learn continuously and inspire evolution or new solutions Develops product vision for your area, creating buy-in across stakeholder groups and ensuring the product meets key clearly defined business objectives Expert in managing relationships with senior stakeholders, including technology partners, vendors, and C-level executives. Deep understanding of current and emerging technologies. Develop and drive the technology strategy for a product vertical or value streams, ensuring it supports the overall business strategy Proven experience working with SaaS providers and other technology organizations, influencing their roadmaps and driving to rapid delivery Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop product managers and technical teams. Focuses on building a strong product management culture. Champions the use of customer research, data, and anecdotes to learn continuously and inspire evolution or new solutions. Leads specific product community efforts to encourage continuous learning throughout the organization Who Are You?  If you are passionate about shaping user experiences in the annuities sector and thrive in a collaborative environment:  10 years as a Product Manager or relevant role Bachelor's degree or Master Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration or Software Engineering  Proven experience as a Product Management leader managing a team of Product Managers Deep experience in annuities and other data domains as this role will partner directly with the Product Managers to effectively leverage enterprise data into all products. Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.  Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate and defend your Product Strategy  Experience working in a variety of technology environments including but not limited to the following: partnering with vendors, partnering with third party teams and working with internal engineering resources    What Can Security Benefit Offer You?
