Sales Support Specialist I

Security Benefit is searching for a Sales Support Specialist with proven experience to join our Operations Team. The Sales Support Specialist will work in our home office in Topeka, Kansas. SB associates are working in a hybrid environment with both remote and on-site work. Who Are We? Through a broad advisor network and its nationally recognized money managers, Security Benefit provides mutual funds, annuities and retirement programs.  What Does the Job Look Like?  The Sales Support Specialist is an important individual contributor to the Operations Team for Security Benefit. Primary responsibilities include managing not in good order (NIGO) resolution for new business, post issue transactions, and appointment/licensing applications in support of our overall NIGO management and support program. Additional responsibilities may also include researching and analyzing problems and escalations to determine accurate and prompt triage and resolution of any errors/issues that arise, relaying necessary information and status updates, addressing general inquiries, and providing general issues resolution. The Specialist will plan, organize, and direct internal support for the handling of NIGO remediation and management as their primary activities. Responsibilities include: Partners with Sales associates and working with external audiences to manage and remediate NIGOs for new business applications, post issue transactions, and appointment/licensing applications Support tracking, reporting, and trending of NIGO activities to support root cause identification Partner with internal constituents to support implementation of NIGO remediation efforts and continuous improvement opportunities with a focus on reducing future NIGO volumes Research pending contract issues including reviewing contracts to ensure they are in good order, following up with LOA paperwork, checking processing for any potential contracts not in good order (NIGO) Support general operations and service related inquiries from the Sales team Identify and help deliver solutions to resolve emerging service gaps and advise constituents on trends and corresponding solutions Partners with service and administrative associates to provide the highest level of support to sales professionals   Who Are You?
