Hiring Security Officers

Security Company is seeking positive and motivated Security Officers for a site located in Honolulu, HI area.

Rate: $21.74/HR

All Shifts/Days Available

***Must have a valid Hawaii GDE license***

• Guards must be in good physical condition as specialized training may be required. Training involves physical activity that is considered inherently dangerous/hazardous.
• Pre-Requisites to hire include: FEMA ICS 100, 200 and 700; CPR/First Aid/AED; OSHA 10

Qualifications for Security Officers

• Valid certification- State requirements
• Passing back ground check at state and federal levels.
• Good communication skill, both verbal and written.
• The ability to proactively engage customers, and provide services to them as needed.
• The ability to walk for long periods of time.
• The ability to lift and move moderately heavy objects.

Responsibilities of Security Officers:

• Secure and protect the property and the customers in order to provide a comfortable experience.
• Proactively engage customers, and provide services to them as needed.
• Monitor the facilities in order to report any changes or problems observed.
• Create reports concerning activities an incidents occurring on property.
• Tend to minor facilities maintenance issues.
• Become familiar with and patrol a large commercial property.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $21.74 per hour

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Security: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Hawaii Guard Card (Required)
