Security Operations Manager

Security Concepts Group (SCG) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Security Operations Manager to oversee and enhance our security operations. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader with a proven track record in managing security teams, problem solving, implementing security solutions, and ensuring the protection of personnel, assets, and information.

Job Summary :

The Armed Uniform Security Operations Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management and strategic direction of the security team. This role involves managing armed security supervisors, armed security professionals, developing / implementing security policies / procedures, overseeing training programs, as well as managing security systems, and incident response. The Security Operations Manager will also collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with overall security goals.

Responsibilities :

1. Leadership & Management :

1.1. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of security supervisors and professionals.

1.2. Oversee scheduling, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions for the security team.

1.3. Foster a positive and productive work environment.

1.4. Liaison with all stakeholders

1.5  Review resumes, conduct interview and in process new hires.

2. Security Operations :

2.1. Manage the day-to-day operations of the security team, ensuring schedule coverage and timely response to incidents.

2.2. Develop, review and implement security policies, procedures, and protocols.

2.3. Monitor security systems and alerts, including security professionals NFC tag reports, body worn camera footage, and incident reports.

2.4. Conduct security assessments and vulnerability scans.

2.5. Manage incident response, including notification, actions taken and reporting.

2.6. Identify gaps in process or procedures and make qualified recommendations to mitigate those gaps.

2.7. Manage accountability of all company equipment and any equipment issued by the stakeholder.

3. Technology :

3.1. Oversee the selection, implementation, and maintenance of security technologies.

3.2. Ensure the security, accountability and integrity of all computers, cell phones, body worn cameras and other technology being utilized.

4. Compliance & Reporting :

4.1. Prepare and present security reports to senior management.

4.2. Maintain accurate records of security incidents and investigations.

4.3. Maintain contract compliance

5. Collaboration & Communication :

5.1. Collaborate with other stakeholders to ensure security alignment and support.

5.2. Communicate effectively with senior management, employees, and external stakeholders.

5.3. Build and maintain relationships with law enforcement and other security agencies.

6. Budget Management :

6.1. Manage the security operations budget.

Qualifications :

• Current Nevada PILB work card
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Must be able to pass drug screening (including for TCH)
• Position is armed and candidate must have their own 9mm semi automatic pistol with level three holster and 3 serviceable magazines
• Bachelor's degree in a security related field preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in security operations, with at least 5 years in a management role.
• Strong understanding of security principles, best practices, and technologies.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and industry standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills is a must
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Security certifications are highly desirable.
• Strong computer skills specifically in Microsoft Suites of programs, and Google applications
