Integrated Service Field Technician
Pay Range: TBD Per Hour, depending on experience.
A general job description of the daily activities and/or job tasks the position may require would include, but not limited to, one or more of the following:
- Mounting cameras, network switches, antennas and low voltage wiring and sealant into electrical enclosures
- Mounting finished enclosures to units via pole mount, etc.
- Travel locally and to other states as needed to deploy, pick up, and maintain surveillance equipment
- Anchoring/mounting of equipment to various surfaces (Electrical, mounting pads, interior/exterior walls, doors, etc.)
- Making basic low voltage connections working with RS232/485, Twisted Pair, Cat5e, etc.
- Configure software & hardware, support, and training available
- Troubleshoot and repair all products sold, installed, deployed
- Continuous preventative maintenance
- Train customers on basic operations of deployed systems
- Complete all appropriate company paperwork and reporting as required
- Assist other functions of the department/company as needed
- Comply with safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team
Basic Qualifications Include:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous training and experience working with basic electricity, low voltage and modern security devices, i.e. CCTV, Access Control, alarm systems, etc. is preferred but not required
- Certification/License Required: CAT 1: Certified Alarm Technician / AESBL Installer (May be obtained within the first 60 days of hire).
- Clean driving record, no criminal record and drug free
- Independent worker who can take initiative when needed
- A quick learning ability, and ability to find technical answers/solutions independently
- Basic understanding of mechanical systems
- Basic understanding of electrical systems
- Computer skills in basic hardware, software applications & networks
- Good customer service & interpersonal skills
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. without assistance
- Flexible schedule to allow for a rotating “on call” shift for after-hours emergency service calls
- Strong analytical & problem-solving skills

The Integrated Service Field Technician will be responsible for the production, installation, and service response activities of the Integrated Security Department. Initially, along with acquiring any required licensing, the position will involve in-house technical training on the products that we build, sell and support, as well as deploying and maintaining these electronic surveillance systems.
