Description
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the development and support of the Fire Alarm Program and its execution and results
- Design fire alarm systems that produce profitable jobs and positive customer experiences
- Perform tasks in preparation of submittals and drawings on Fire alarm systems
- Support sales with site visits to evaluate new installations and large commercial (intricate) fire alarm takeovers, assist with putting quotes together to ensure proper parts are in place and questions that may come up
- Installation and service support by assisting technicians, in the field and by phone, with complex problems related to commercial fire alarms
- Develop and maintain working relationships with sub-contractors that may assist with the installation of commercial fire alarm systems throughout our markets we serve
- Help to keep SEi compliant with the most recent codes for each jurisdiction, stay connected with the AHJ’s and deliver the updated changes to the company, through oral and written communication. This will also include helping to obtain/maintain all licenses that may be required regarding SEi continuing to provide commercial fire and life safety systems
- Following installations to the final inspections and working to ensure all installations have met or exceeded the company policies and any local codes and regulations, including those of the individual AHJ’s
- Provide ongoing training with the sales teams through in office meeting or through training webinars while helping to create commercial fire sales team members with certified experience in each office
- Provide ongoing training with the operations teams, in the field or through a classroom setting in person or through training webinars, to include assistance with those wishing to gain NICET Certifications
- Support and implement processes and best practices for all aspects of our fire alarm installations, service, inspections, and monitoring
- Responsible for product and system selection for fire alarm items on our Approved Product Matrix
- Ensure SEi has the proper technology to support our Fire Alarm Program initiatives in regards to design, submittals, drawings, installation, inspections, etc…
- Perform other duties as assigned
SHIFT:
- 8-hour workday
- Monday-Friday (7am-5pm)

Pay: $95,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Requirements
REQUIREMENTS:
- NICET Level 3 or higher required
- BS in Business Administration or equivalent work experience
- 5-10 years of management experience in the Commercial Fire and Life Safety industries
- Strategic Planning – ability to develop and implement a program to an organization
- Ability to design fire alarm systems to proper code and perform and submit proper submittal packages and drawings
- Ability to understand meet and listen to customers’ needs
- Extensive knowledge of National Building Code, Life Safety Code, National Electrical Code, and the ability to read blueprints
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret contracts, policies, documents and regulations
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables
- Ability to interpret, review, and respond to a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral or schedule form
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, public speaking and presentation skills
- Solid working knowledge of installation, service, process development, and leadership
- Strong ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities
- Knowledge of computer skills. MS Office is preferred
- Ability to work as a team
Salary : $95,000 - $115,000
