The following is the basic job description for the Supply Planner position current as of the date noted above. Any alterations, substitutions, or additions must be approved in writing by two of the following people : Human Resource Manager, S&OP Manager, and Director of Operations. This position reports directly to the S&OP Manager.

High-Level Objectives :
- Develop and execute supply plans to align inventory with customer demand, minimizing costs and maximizing efficiency.
- Collaborate with vendors to ensure reliable supply and manage purchase orders effectively.
- Optimize inventory levels to reduce excess stock, prevent stockouts, and achieve operational goals.
Job Summary : The Supply Planner is responsible for creating and managing supply plans to ensure product availability while maintaining cost-effective inventory levels. This role focuses on purchasing, vendor coordination, and inventory management to support the organization’s supply chain strategy.
Essential Functions :
Create and manage purchase and transfer orders to meet inventory policies and branch / customer requirements.
Monitor inventory levels to prevent stockouts and minimize excess or obsolete stock.
Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure reliable supply.
Analyze supply chain data to identify trends and improve supply planning processes.
Identify and implement initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency and reduce costs.
Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as inventory turnover and stockout rates.
Act as a key member of the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) team, collaborating with cross-functional teams to align supply chain plans with business goals.
