This position is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to promote the bank's products and services within the local community, focusing on building brand awareness, customer acquisition, and loyalty while aligning with the bank's overall strategic goals by managing marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, print, social media and community outreach initiatives, while collaborating closely with various departments to ensure consistent messaging and customer engagement.
Requirements
Strategic Marketing Planning:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing plan aligned with the bank's strategic objectives, including target audience segmentation, market analysis and budget allocation
- Identify market trends and opportunities to drive customer growth and market penetration
- Collaborate with senior management to set marketing goals and key performance indicator
Brand Management:
- Oversee the bank's brand identity, ensuring consistent messaging and visual representation across all marketing materials
- Develop and manage brand guidelines to maintain brand integrity and regulatory compliance
- Uphold image standards and act as quality control for public-facing document and correspondence
Marketing Campaign Execution:
- Design and execute targeted marketing campaigns across multiple channels including digital advertising, social media, email marketing, print media and community events
- Develop compelling marketing content that resonates with the target audience
- Collaborate with third party marketing firm (as needed) with the development of advertising strategies and campaigns to acquire, retain and expand relationships with customers and identified target segments
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance to optimize results and ROI
Product Development:
- Work with executive management and business unit leadership to assist in the development of new products and enhance existing products to serve customer needs and meet the growth and profitability of the bank
- Provide marketing support and guidance through product research, development and delivery stages to assure successful implementation of new services
Customer Relationship Management:
- Foster customer engagement through loyalty programs, personalized communications, and customer feedback initiatives
- Manage bank's website, digital displays, mobile banking and online customer messaging and notifications
- Collaborate with the business development teams to develop enhanced customer relationships and robust needs-based solutions strategies
Community Engagement:
- Identify and participate in community events, sponsorships, and partnerships to enhance the bank's local presence
- Build relationships with local organizations and community leaders
Public Relations:
- Safeguard and enhance the bank's public image through effective, strategic, timely and well-placed communication during times of success and crisis
- Prepare quarterly/annual shareholder reports, press releases, coordinate media inquiries and manage crisis communication plans as needed
Event Planning and Coordination:
- Plan and execute bank-sponsored events, workshops and seminars that promote financial literacy and community involvement (Looney Tunes Program)
- Coordinate event logistics and manage event communications
Budget Management:
- Develop and manage the marketing and community affairs budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to various projects and initiatives
- Manage approval and payment of all monetary sponsorship/contributions to local and regional organizations and payment of marketing/media invoices
Compliance Management:
- Maintain current knowledge and comply with all regulations appropriate for position (Bank Secrecy Act, OFAC, GLBA, etc.) and attend all training associated to job related regulations
- Adhere to bank security policies and procedures and safeguard customer information
- Work with compliance officer and other appropriate parties to develop processes and procedures to ensure compliance
Four Year College Degree Required. A minimum of 3 years proven experience in marketing, within the banking industry preferred, with a strong understanding of financial products and services. Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Publisher, Power Point and Outlook; Adobe Software - Acrobat, Photoshop, Illustrator and other design software; Digital marketing tools and platforms, including internet, social media, CRM system and marketing automation
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders
- Strong analytical skills to measure marketing campaign performance and make data-driven decisions
- Experience in event planning and community outreach initiates
- Familiarity with local community dynamics and macro/micro market trends
- Leadership and team management abilities to lead and inspire others inside and outside of the bank
