AsBusiness Systems Analyst, You Will
- Primary responsibility to serve as a liaison between Business, Compliance, and IT functions to gather and document requirements
- Partners with Business and Compliance to document functional requirements and partners with IT to execute those requirements
- Designs and understands solutions and technical requirements to execute
- Understands and implements processes, systems, and data flows to ensure functional requirements are well vetted and constraints are planned for upfront
- Ensures documentation of current state and updates as changes are made
- Identifies areas for improvement in processes, systems, controls and creative approach to solutions
- Partners with the business to define functional requirements and with IT to understand data flows
- Monitors for industry trends and changes
- Analyzes data to identify and action thoughtful insights, including performing full regression testing
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify customer needs, data flows, servicing systems, and constraints
- Ability to analyze processes, systems, and data
- Strong verbal and written communicator with all levels of the organization including documentation of current and future state processes
- Experience with Credit Reporting Resource Guide, CDIA, Metro 2 files, preferred
- Ability to serve as a liaison between Business, Compliance, and IT functions
- Highly organized with the ability to see/understand big picture and details
- Proven business judgement including knowing when to make a decision vs. escalating
- Experience participating in projects and process improvement initiatives
- Experience in the financial or consumer finance industry, preferred
