ENTRY LEVEL INSPECTION TECHNICIAN

Pay Range : $16.00 / HR - $19.00 / HR
No prior inspection experience or knowledge of fire alarm or fire sprinkler systems necessary. Pay dependent upon your level of construction experience, mechanical skills, and education.

Job Description :
Entry level inspection technicians assist lead inspectors in various inspections of fire protection and life safety systems / equipment. Systems include but are not limited to sprinkler, fire pump, fire alarm, wet / dry systems, foam, clean agent, suppression, kitchen hoods, portable extinguisher, fixed extinguisher, emergency lighting, fire doors, and backflow prevention.

Requirements :
- No prior inspection experience necessary!
- Previous construction experience is a value add.
- Strong values and a dedication to working with integrity at all times.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Well-developed active listening, critical thinking, and deductive reasoning skills.
- Dependability- must be reliable, responsible and committed to fulfilling assigned duties.
- Must be willing to work independently or as part of a crew to meet contractual commitments.
- Have a dependable means of transportation to get to and from job sites and other places of work.
- Be willing to pursue industry certifications such as NICET Water-Based ITM and NICET Fire Alarm ITM as well as any State required license within one year.
