Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Installation Technician / Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for the installation, servicing, and management of commercial and residential security systems. The ideal candidate will oversee a team of technicians, schedule projects efficiently, and ensure high-quality installations of security, access control, fire alarm, and camera systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation & Servicing: Install, program, troubleshoot, and maintain security systems, including hardwired and wireless alarm systems, access control, surveillance cameras, and fire alarm systems.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of installation technicians, providing guidance and training as needed.
- Scheduling & Coordination: Plan and coordinate installation schedules to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Quality Control: Conduct system tests, verify installations meet industry standards, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Customer Interaction: Work with clients to assess their security needs, provide recommendations, and ensure seamless system integration.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all installations comply with local, state, and national codes and regulations.
- Technical Proficiency: Stay up to date with the latest security technology and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum [3] years of experience in security system installation and team management.
- Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in hardwired and wireless alarm systems, access control systems, surveillance cameras, and fire alarms.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to manage, train, and schedule a team effectively.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot technical issues efficiently.
- Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- No Felonies: Must be able to pass police background check.
