About the role :
We are currently looking for an experienced Organized Retail Crime Agent - Undercover / Plain Clothes.
In this role, your responsibilities will be :
Conduct undercover surveillance to detect and apprehend shopliftersRecover assets and / or make safe apprehensionsHave knowledge of, and ensure strict compliance with the law and company policies concerning apprehensions, search and seizure, and the preservation of evidence.Prepare prompt and complete reports relative to all theft incidents, merchandise recoveries, and other activities as assigned by the Loss Prevention ManagerTestify in court concerning any criminal or civil caseMaintain a professional attitude with sincerity and integrityAs a candidate you must have :
Minimum of 1 years' experience in a security, law enforcement or military discipline.High School diploma (or GED) requiredMust obtain / maintain state security licensing and any other state requirements - firearms permit not neededPrior retail Loss Prevention experience is preferred, undercover experience a plusComputer proficiency, and working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Excel and WordAbility to evaluate circumstances and make timely decisions based on company apprehension guidelinesPossesses general operating knowledge of retail security camera equipmentAbility to work evening and weekendsMust be able to stand / walk sales floor for entire scheduled shiftWe offer :
