Job Description : Port Supervisor

Location : Fort Lauderdale Port

Reports To : Nicole Lopez, Account Manager

About the Role :

We are seeking highly motivated and experienced Supervisors to join our team at the Fort Lauderdale Port. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring safety and security, and maintaining a productive work environment.

Responsibilities :

Oversee Daily Operations :

Supervise and direct the work of a team of security officers.

Monitor employee performance and provide timely feedback and coaching.

Ensure all security procedures and protocols are followed.

Conduct regular site inspections to identify and address any safety or security concerns.

Prepare and submit daily activity reports.

Maintain Security and Safety :

Implement and enforce security measures to deter and prevent theft, vandalism, and other criminal activity.

Respond to emergencies and incidents effectively and professionally.

Conduct thorough investigations as needed.

Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Customer Service :

Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors.

Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.

Build and maintain positive relationships with clients.

Administrative Duties :

Maintain accurate records of employee attendance, timekeeping, and performance.

Assist with scheduling and staffing.

Participate in training and development programs.

Qualifications :

Experience : Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a security or related field.

Licenses and Certifications :

Valid Florida Driver's License (Class D)

Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card

Other Requirements :

Own reliable transportation.

Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.

Pay Range :

Shift Supervisor : $19.00 per hour

Site Supervisor : $21.00 per hour
