Job Description

The Vehicle Patrol Officer is responsible for patrolling the Port of Miami property, ensuring security and safety of personnel, property, and cargo. This position requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team, while maintaining a high level of vigilance and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine vehicle patrols of the Port of Miami property.
• Monitor for suspicious activity, unauthorized personnel, and potential security threats.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and emergencies in a timely and effective manner.
• Prepare detailed incident reports and other required documentation.
• Enforce port rules and regulations.
• Assist with traffic control and crowd management as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  
  

Qualifications

• Valid Florida Driver's License.
• Own a personal vehicle to commute to work.
• Active Security D License.
• Valid TWIC Card.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented and organized.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical ability to perform duties, including walking, standing, and sitting for extended periods.
  
  

Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour.
