Armed Security Officer/Supervisor

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Armed Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in law enforcement or military service, with the ability to effectively manage conflicts and ensure the safety and security of our clients and their property. This role requires vigilance, excellent observational skills, and the ability to respond swiftly in emergency situations.

Duties

• Patrol assigned areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
• Monitor surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to maintain a secure environment.
• Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, conducting thorough investigations as necessary.
• Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
• Provide first aid and CPR as needed during emergencies.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when necessary.
• Document incidents, observations, and activities in detailed reports.
• Conduct loss prevention measures to minimize theft or damage to property.
• Maintain proficiency in conflict management techniques to de-escalate tense situations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in law enforcement or military service is preferred.
• Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional training in conflict management is a plus.
• Familiarity with surveillance systems, including CCTV operation, is advantageous.
• Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert and vigilant at all times.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients, staff, and law enforcement personnel.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in high-pressure situations.
• Must possess a valid armed security officer license/certificate as required by state regulations.

Pay: $18.50 - $19.75 per hour

Expected hours: 32 per week
