- Benefits - The employee will earn $80.00 / hour after completing the initial training requirement. (During the week-long academy, compensation will be at minimum wage.)

Duties / Responsibilities
Act as a visual deterrent to prevent theft, embezzlement, sabotage, fire, and accidents.Conduct regular patrols.Monitor activities.Surveillance.Access control.Safety escorts.Using provided communication devices.Represent SSNW's brand.Properly wear the issued uniform.Complete Daily Activity Reports (DAR).Complete Incident Reports.Work with local law enforcement, and emergency services.Provide friendly assistance to customers, employees, and visitors following the department's procedures.Other duties as described in the Post OrdersRequired Skills / Abilities :
Access to a smartphone with access to the apps we use for scheduling, clocking in / out, and reporting.Honesty and integrity.Able to work non-traditional hours including swings, graveyard, weekends, and holidays.Must be able to obtain a Washington State Unarmed Security Guard License.Ability to react appropriately in high-stress situationEducation and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent.Law Enforcement and or Military Police experience preferred.K-9 Course completion certificate will be required.Required to work shift work.Have a home with a fenced yard.Prior public safety and / or military experience preferred.Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC) card (or obtain one).Knowledge of security protocols and equipment.Physical Requirements :
