Job Summary: Responsible for deterring criminal activity by adhering to a facility’s security measures. Security Services Northwest is actively looking for a full-time unarmed security guard in the Omak, WA area.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Control access to the client's facility
• Patrol client facilities on foot
• Deter intrusion, theft and vandalism
• Watch for fire and flood and other hazards
• Assist employees and visitors
• Write reports of daily/nightly activities, incidents, observations, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
• Maintains environment by monitoring and setting building and equipment controls.
• Enforcing site-specific directives (Post orders)
• Maintaining high visibility and attentiveness to details.
• Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Other duties as assigned
  
  

Minimum Qualifications:

• Qualified candidates have at least a high school diploma or equivalent
• Have a current Washington armed or unarmed Security license
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least 3-4 years previous security officer experience preferred
  
  

Physical Demands:

• Physical activity, including standing, walking, climbing stairs, and inclines during shifts.
• Work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow, or heat,
• Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds,
• Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods.

Pay: $23.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
