Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable Security Officer to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, their customers, & employees. This is a vital role in ensuring the protection and the safety of all individuals on-site.
Duties:
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to promote and ensure safety and security measures, deter and detect unauthorized access.
- Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, including emergency situations
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and addressing their inquiries or concerns
- Enforce access control procedures by verifying identification and authorizing entry
- Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of daily activities
- Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when necessary
Experience:
- Possess a valid VA DCJS Security Officer license
- Prior experience in the military, law enforcement, or security field is a plus
- Familiarity with surveillance techniques, and access control systems
- Must have CPR and first aid certification or ability to obtain when hired.
- Understanding of conflict management and de-escalation techniques required.
