We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, utilizing surveillance techniques and conflict management skills to prevent incidents and ensure the safety of all individuals on the premises.
We are primarily hiring for 3rd shift and on call positions. The flex program is set up where you can choose what shifts you want to be on call for to provide that work life balance!
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
- Operate and maintain surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to ensure comprehensive coverage of the facility.
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, providing first aid or CPR as necessary.
- Enforce property rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor in all interactions.
- Conduct thorough investigations of security breaches or incidents, documenting findings accurately.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed during investigations or emergencies.
- Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and damage to property.
- Manage conflicts effectively, utilizing de-escalation techniques when necessary.

Additional Information:
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred.
- Valid certification in CPR/First Aid/AED is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with surveillance systems (CCTV) and monitoring techniques is advantageous.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Must possess a valid security officer certificate or be willing to obtain one ($167.15)
- Must be able to pass a background check, have a valid drivers license, have a clean driving history, and pass a drug test
