Armed Security Officer

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining security at a facility.

Responsibilities
- Monitor premises to prevent theft, vandalism, or destruction of property.
- Patrol assigned areas on foot or by vehicle to ensure security
- Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances
- Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences

Skills
- Understanding of law enforcement procedures
- Experience in loss prevention techniques
- Military or Law Enforcement / Corrections background is a plus
- Possession of relevant security certificates

Ideal Candidate

• 3 Years Experience
• Prior Military, Law Enforcement, or Corrections experience
• Active Level 3 Guard Card
• Valid Texas Driver's License
• No criminal record
• Verifiable References
• Able to pass random drug test
• Able to pass a written test of security topics
• Reliable transportation
• Able to stand for long periods of time
• Have an active bank account for direct deposit
• Neat appearance and grooming
• Must have a smart phone and be able to use it
• Pass a quarterly firearms qualification
• Must have quality duty gear to our standards
• First aid /CPR /AED certification or willingness to get certified

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
