Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and processing of escrow documents for real estate transactions
- Review and analyze mortgage loan documents
- Coordinate with lenders, buyers, sellers, and real estate agents to ensure a smooth escrow process
- Prepare and distribute closing statements and settlement documents
- Maintain accurate records of all escrow transactions
- Perform 10-key typing to accurately input financial data
- Provide excellent customer service to clients throughout the escrow process
Requirements:
- Previous experience in title and escrow processing is required.
- Familiarity with escrow procedures and banking regulations is a must
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately review and analyze complex documents
- Proficient in using computer software programs such as Microsoft Office, Softpro and Teams
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of contract terms and other relevant regulations such as RESPA and TRID
Description:
The Escrow Assistant provides general front office assistance and administrative support to the escrow team, while assisting with the processing of escrow transactions. Successful candidates are dependable, friendly, cooperative, detailed, and disciplined.
Typical duties of the position may also include:
- Answer incoming phone calls and greet customers upon their arrival to the office. Provide updates and answer inquiries from sellers, buyers, agents, and lenders.
- Maintain office calendar, including customer scheduling.
- Procurement and stocking of supplies, and ensuring general office upkeep.
- Receive purchase contracts/escrow instructions and assist in the preparation of the transaction for closing by receipting earnest money funds, and entering data

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
