Our escrow coordinator performs various clerical tasks as directed by our title officers. They are responsible for Incoming and outgoing correspondence, proofreading, filing, and copying. This position prepares documents and instructions for closing transactions.

- Coordinates title operations with other departments (e.g., customer service, searching, examining, and accounting);
- Communicates with clients in the opening and closing of title files.
- Prepares documents and instructions for closing transactions.
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Adheres to company policies and guidelines.
- Other job responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements:
- Good administrative skills.
- Must be customer service oriented.
- Must be discrete and confidential.
Special Skills:
- The coordinator must have excellent customer service skills with both internal and external customers.
- Requires the ability to work independently and or within a team structure.
- Must have the ability to recognize the need to escalate matters when necessary.
- Positive, clear communication skills and strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a willingness to adapt quickly.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office preferred.
- Prior knowledge Softpro software, a plus.
Work Experience:
- Prior knowledge of real estate transaction closings and work experience in the title industry is not required but preferred.
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Required).
