POSITION SUMMARY:

Securonix is a fast-paced, highly matrixed organization that requires cross-functional collaboration for success. As an HR Generalist you will work with highly intelligent and passionate resources in the US and globally as required. This position is hybrid, working mostly from your home office but travel to our Plano, TX office will be required 1 to 2 times per week.


POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Administer compensation and benefit plans.
  • Support employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves administration, payroll and benefits questions.
  • Assist in promoting HR programs and initiative.
  • Collect and analyze HR data metrics such as employee turnover rates, employee performance, etc.
  • Maintain compliance with labor regulations.
  • Provides manager coaching on the performance improvement plan process.
  • Ensures that employee data is accurate.
  • Works with HR Business Services teams as needed to identify and resolve issues.
  • Actively leverages HR technology in order to drive value and results.
  • Serves as a resource for managers on HR-related questions and issues, providing direction on processes. 
  • Guides the escalation and resolution of HR questions, issues and requests to the appropriate channels.
  • Partners with employee relations on employee investigations and employee issues where appropriate.
  • Collaborates with appropriate parties and escalates issues as needed.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 year of experience as an HR Generalist.
  • Experience communicating with impact and utilizing strong collaborating and influencing skills.
  • Experience collaborating with business management teams and forging strong relationships.
  • Experience with best practices to support development and execution of HR strategy, policy and practice.
  • Experience with procedures for employee relations, training, compensation, benefits and HRIS systems.
  • Experience delivering presentations and facilitating workshops to various audience levels within an organization.
  • Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: using SUM function, setting borders, setting column width, inserting charts, using text wrap, sorting, setting headers and footers and/or print scaling).
  • Intermediate level skill in Microsoft PowerPoint (for example: applying a theme, formatting character spacing, inserting a picture, changing slide layout and theme colors, adding transitions, customizing slide numbers, changing chart style and/or formatting font).
  • Certification as a PHR or SPHR as granted by HRCI.
  • Experience working with HR technology including Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
